If my memory serves me right
Wednesday, August 31st, 2011A good friend of mine came to my humble convenience store one day and he invited me to attend a function that can give us information about a business that has the potential of giving us both good income. I was curious of course and I really wanted to earn more because I needed more capital for my current business; so I did accept my friend’s invitation. He was excited himself and he advised me to get a pen and paper or even a voice recorder just so I can get a hold of the inputs about the main topic of the function: stock trading. If my memory serves me right, stocks do give you a good return on investment as long as you are able to educate yourself and make good decisions and observe the trends. I just believe that those who think that their investment or money can make it big can really make it in the industry because they have the mindset, attitude, and education so that they can win big in this industry; trading stocks can give you big money. People are so naive to think that they can do it and that is why they lose a lot of their hard earned money after they play it for a little while. And so there I was, attending the training from a famous person who is the experts in trading stocks, and I learned that you need to look at your stocks every time, at least in the initial stages of the trading game; this and other activities are great to have. In any kind of business venture, you need to be very deliberate about decision-making; trading stocks is also much like that which is really exciting to know and do. That seminar made me appreciative about stocks and trading because I learned loads of things; you need to make sure that the trends really tell you what the big picture is because there are also cases that these trends don’t reflect the real situation of the stocks. That’s why I shared this after the seminar and it feels good when I advise my friends to keep on studying on how to handle their money for the trading so that they would be the very ones who will decide about what to do with stocks. I think that you need to really take care of your own hard earned money and you cannot afford to lose control over your own money because that won’t be trading anymore. You can really deliberately and intelligently decide what to do with your money once you just get yourself educated and then you can trade all you want.

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011Yesterday, My fiance and I were invited to the bridal fair of Marriott and we still went to Marriott just to check out the bridal fashion show since our chosen couturier has a piece in the fashion show even though we are almost completely done with all the preparation since we already have suppliers. I was really happy that many of our chosen suppliers also have an exhibit in the bridal fair such as our wedding coordinator, the printer we chose for our wedding invitation, the baker for our wedding cake and the videographer. One thing though that I still do not have for the wedding are my bridal jewelry and luckily my couturier was there yesterday and there was a jeweler present in the fair, I was able to ask him what type of jewelry would match my wedding gown that is not pearl jewelry, since my mom told me not to wear pearls since it looks like a teardrop. After the bridal fair yesterday I and my fiance was able to get a peak to the wedding gown made by our couturier that was worn by a real bride since the reception of the wedding was just across Marriott, we were able to see the bride just before she went inside the grand ballroom but I was not that impressed maybe because the style of her wedding gown is not the same as the style I want for my wedding gown. And just a few minutes after we saw the wedding gown, our wedding coordinator called and told us we can go take a peak of a wedding he is currently doing since it had the same setup with ours, an all-white theme, and it was very elegant.

Therefore, all in a work force should wisely take a careful look at their work environment and their work habits; for example, you need to note whether your workplace is really safe, if you are working with any toxic substances and if you are adequately protected, if you are constantly under stress, and if you accept work schedules that breach legally established limits or hours. Maintaining an unreasonable work schedule can be dangerous to the worker because this can make them very tired and as a result they will give outputs that are less efficient and can make more mistakes when working; most of the companies today are fostering workaholism and they even give rewards to those that are very workaholic. Perhaps nowhere is this problem as evident as in the transport industry, where drivers may be encouraged or even forced to drive for long hours without breaks which is illegal in some lands. Poor work habits, which may include lack of tidiness and cleanliness, pose another hazard and leaving tools strewn on the floor, even as simple as pens or toner cartridges, or live electric wires exposed often leads to accidents, even fatalities; the same can be said of ignoring safety precautions when using power tools and machinery. Many injuries also occurred when fluids are left spilled on the floor.

Friday, August 26th, 2011My parents would often wonder because instead of going out of my room and play with other kids in our place, I just stay inside my room and play my favorite warfare games. In fact, my mother would always scold me because I have been so addicted to these warfare games and would even just play whole day inside my room without going out and would not entertain any visitors at home. Among the many games that I was able to play with, Call of Duty has really been my favorite because it has a really nice graphics and would really make you feel like you are a real action hero and shoot all enemies down. There were some rumors that the release of its new installation will be this 8th of November this year and with this best-selling first person action game, surely a lot of people are so excited to try this one. This very famous sequel was developed by Infinity Ward and the Call of Duty series will be tackling about what happened during the World War 2 until the Cold war in the 1960′s. In this modern war of different nations, many countries would get involved and this makes modern warfare 3 so excited, and World War 3 scenarios would also be featured. The game was said to be dealing with a larger epic scale and for sure, this will be another hit in the video gaming market for which most of us Call of Duty players will become so addicted with. I cannot really wait for the release of this game and I even have been reading a lot of blogs and articles about this game created by those who are so excited for its release as well.
While waiting for the emergency team to arrive
Friday, August 26th, 2011The best thing to do once a good friend of yours or a family member would go into cardiac arrest is do the cardio pulmonary resuscitation because victims can have greater chances of surviving based on some studies if CPR is immediately performed. While waiting for the emergency team to arrive, you can do CPR because this might extend the person’s life and the person’s heart, brain and lungs are being deprived with oxygen and blood every time a person experiences cardiac arrest. I was really very thankful that during my college days, we had a cpr training that is why I know the things to do whenever I will be confronted into situations like these. I realized how important this procedure is because I was able to help in assisting someone who was having a cardiac arrest by having been able to have such knowledge and I think everyone should know how to do this. We will all be able to save a lot of lives if we all can be properly informed or trained with how to do CPR properly when something bad happens to a friend that we know while still waiting for the emergency team to arrive. When there is a child, infant or adult, I have learned that CPR can help a choking victim and many companies would have trainings for their employees to be mandatory and it is good to hear that. We know how important life is and we should always be educated enough about dealing with emergency situations because knowing how to do the CPR will make a big difference than doing nothing at all. I have shared to my family and friends what I have learned from the trainings that I have attended and also with my experiences.

His fur is all white, long and flowy; it needs constant grooming because he easily soils his hair due to its white color and he is a playful dog so he can easily find himself a corner or a crevice to hide into.
